Duolingo's gems feature release
Duolingo is a language learning app with a highly game-ified user experience, and consequently, high user engagement. In a recent update, Duolingo introduced the new "gems" feature. Let's see how they did it:

Here, we see a modal window providing information on what gems can be used for, but not much about what gems actually are. Nonetheless, we like this modal window because it has a nice balance of text-to-visuals, as well as positive language in the CTA.
